The Norwegian contractor will lay two 125-km long, 6-in diameter pipelines from the gas processing plant under development at Nyhamna on the West coast of Norway, to the Ormen Lange field in a water depth of 850-1100m, together with a 3.6-km long, 6-in diameter pipeline between two production manifolds in the field. The pipelines will be laid by the Seaway Falcon starting in the second quarter of 2006.

THE OPERATOR of the Ormen Lange field in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea, Norsk Hydro has awarded Stolt Offshore a contract valued at approximately $35 million.
