He said laying a deepsea pipeline would be difficult, but India and Oman could co-operate to attempt it. “It is imperative for India and Oman to go for technological cooperation in this area so that we can go ahead with the prestigious project,” he said, adding that since over two-thirds of world oil was consumed in the Asian region, it was imperative to evolve the Asian oil market.
