Construction has begun on Enbridge’s Alberta Clipper Oil Pipeline in North Dakota and Minnesota, United States.
The pipeline is being constructed by Global Pipeline Partners, whose crews are beginning to clear land and string pipe along the pipeline route.
The new pipeline will carry approximately 450,000 bbl/d of oil 1,590 km from the oil tar sands region of Alberta, Canada, to Superior, Wisconsin, in the US.
