This expansion project is expected to add 400 MMcf/d of capacity to the ETC Tiger Pipeline system, bringing total capacity to 2.4 Bcf/d, all of which is sold out under long-term contracts ranging from 10 to 15 years.
Construction on the original 42 inch diameter Tiger Pipeline began in early June. Covering a total distance of approximately 280 km, the interstate natural gas pipeline originates from Panola County, Texas and terminates in Richland Parish, Louisiana.
The Tiger Pipeline will provide takeaway capacity from the East Texas Carthage Hub area and the Haynesville Shale play, and is to be constructed, owned and operated by the ETC Tiger Pipeline Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ETP.
