EPC and communication and control systems contract

The EPC tender covers the construction of three sections of the approximately 4,144 km pipeline, which will bring gas from Bolivia to Argentina.

The first section will interconnect with the Juana – Azurduy Pipeline in the province of Salta and run to the provincial boundary between the provinces of Salta and Formosa.

The second section will run along the provincial boundary between Salta and Formosa to the town of Ibarreta, in the province of Formosa, while the third section will run from Vera, to Arijón, both in Santa Fe Province.

The Government has budgeted $US871.9 million for this contract.

Bids are also being accepted for the provision of a control and communication system for the above sections of the pipeline. This contract has a budget of approximately $US5.9 million.

Submission of bids for these tenders will be received up to half an hour before the opening of bids ceremony, which will take place midday 18 March 2011.

Basic engineering and EIA contracts

The government has also open bids for contracts to do the basic engineering and environmental impact surveys March 21. The government has budgeted US1.7 million and $US596,639 respectively, for those contracts.

Submission of bids for these tenders will be received up to half an hour before the opening of bids ceremony, which will take place midday 21 March 2011.
