Bolivia – Argentina pipeline extension approved

A 70 km extension to the Gasoducto del Noreste (GNEA) gas pipeline has been approved by Argentina’s Planning Minister Julio De Vido.
The GNEA was originally designed to bring gas 1,182 km from Bolivia to the Argentian provinces of Misiones, Corrientes, Chaco and Santiago del Estero.

Argentina’s state energy company Enarsa is expected to commence construction of the GNEA pipeline in the following months.
