Chinese oil pipeline network now reaches over half of group’s refineries

THE Sinopec Group reported recently its crude pipeline network now supplies 18 refineries in North China, East China, and Central China, which accounts for just under 53% of the group’s 34 refineries. Sinopec Group transported 66.56m tons of crude last year through its pipeline system, an increase of 5.2% over 2006. It expects to transport over 70m tons by pipeline in 2008.
