CHINA National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) has is reported to have completed “98% of the construction” of the pipeline project that will transport gas from the Ledong gasfield in South China Sea to the group’s energy and chemical base in Dongfang City in Hainan Province. The pipeline project is composed of two sections: the onshore section is 68km long, and runs from Ledong County to Dongfang City; the offshore section is 105km long.
