Officials from Iran and Armenia recently met in Armenia and discussed details about an oil pipeline planned to join the two countries.
The 365 km, 8 inch diameter pipeline will transfer oil products from Tabriz, Iran, to Yerevan, Armenia.
It is expected to be completed by 2014.
The two countries have previously held talks about the pipeline and estimated that the project would need an investment of $US350 million.
Iran and Armenia first signed a primary agreement on the pipeline in 2007.
