FERC to issue decision on Fayetteville Express by Jan 2010

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has announced it will issue a decision on the Fayetteville Express Pipeline (FEP) LLC’s proposed new system in January 2010.

The proposed FEP project consists of constructing a 42 inch diameter, 298 km pipeline, which will have an initial capacity of 2 Bcf/d.

The commission plans to issue an environmental assessment by 15 October 2009.

Stretching from Arkansas to Mississippi, the pipeline is expected to be in service by early 2011.

FEP will also interconnect with pipelines owned by the Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America in White County, Arkansas, the Texas Gas Transmission in Coahoma County, Mississippi, and ANR Pipeline Company in Quitman County, Mississippi.
