The management committee chairmen of Gazprom and Rosneft have met to discuss Gazprom’s construction of a gas lateral to the Vrangel district of Nakhodka city and the Vrangel gas distribution station, as well as the construction of an inter-settlement gas pipeline from the station to the petrochemical complex.
During the meeting, Gazprom Chairman Alexey Miller and Rosneft Chief Executive Igor Sechin discussed the companies’ implementation of the Strategic Co-operation Agreement and the Agreement of Co-operation of gas supply to the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District, which were established between the companies in 2006 and 2008 respectively.
Through the agreements, the companies have agreed to provide for a co-operative relationship in such areas as hydrocarbons exploration, production, transportation and processing sectors in addition to natural and associated gas marketing. The purchasing of shares from Daltransgaz from Roseneft was also agreed upon.
In addition, the pair addressed the arrangement of gas supplies to the petrochemical complex owned by Eastern Petrochemical Company.
