The pipelines are the Mallavaram – Bhopal – Bhilwara – Vijaipur pipeline, the Mehsana – Bhatinda pipeline, and the Bhatinda – Jammu – Srinagar Pipeline.
The Mallavaram – Bhopal – Bhilwara – Vijaipur pipeline will pass through the states of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan and will be approximately 1,585 km long, not including spur lines. It will have a design capacity of at least 30 MMcm/d.
The Mehsana – Bhatinda pipeline will also have a design capacity of at least 30 MMcm/d. The pipeline will be approximately 1,670 km long, consisting of a 900 km trunkline passing through the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Punjab, and 770 km of spur lines extending to Udaipur, Jodhpur, Bhilwara, Chhitorgarh, Ajmer, Jaipur, Alwar, and Rohtak.
The Bhatinda – Jammu – Srinagar pipeline will have an approximately 300 km trunkline and 440 km of spur lines to Firozpur, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Amritsar, Batala, Jammu, and Srinagar. The 740 km pipeline will have a design capacity of at least 15 MMcm/d and run through the states of Punjab, Jammu, and Kashmir.

The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board has given Gujurat State Petronet Ltd (GSPL) a maximum period of 36 months from the issue of authorisation to commission all three pipeline projects.
