Hungary encourages Egypt to supply Nabucco Pipeline

Hungarian Prime Minister Gordon Bajnai has said that his recent visit to Cairo was aimed at encouraging Egypt to supply the Nabucco gas pipeline, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
If the Arab Gas Pipeline, which starts in Egypt, is extended about 200 km, it would reach the Nabucco Pipeline, greatly increasing the security and the reliability of supply for the pipeline, according to Mr Bajnai.

Egyptian Minister of Petroleum Sameh Fahmi and Hungarian Minister of Transportation, Telecommunications & Energy Peter Honig discussed cooperation on the transfer of gas and the possibility Egypt’s participation in the Nabucco Pipeline project.
