Inpex Corporation will extend the Shin Tokyo Natural Gas Pipeline by 19 km, bringing the total length of the pipeline to 213 km.
The Shin Tokyo Pipeline delivers natural gas from Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture to Fujioka City, Gunma Prefecture. The 508 mm diameter extension will be connected to the existing pipeline in Fujioka City and run to Tomioka City, Gunma Prefecture.
Article continues below…Construction is scheduled to commence in mid-2011, with completion expected by the end of 2012.
