STATOIL has awarded Technip a contract worth $24 million for the fabrication and installation of the infield pipelines on Gjøa. Located in blocks 35/9 and 36/7 on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, approximately 45km west of Sognefjorden, and 60km northeast of Troll C, the Gjøa field lies in 360-380m of water. The project consists of fabrication and installation of 25km of oil and gas production and gas-lift pipelines (14-in, 12-in, and 4.9-in).
