Iran – Armenia Pipeline plans firm

Plans to construct a 365 km pipeline from Iran to Armenia have firmed after the two countries reached an agreement regarding export volumes.
Iran’s Deputy Oil Minister Alireza Zeighami has said that his country would export 4,717 bbl/d of gasoline and 4,717 bbl/d of diesel oil to Armenia.
The two countries plan to construct an 8 inch diameter oil products pipeline between Tabriz and Yerevan to transfer the oil products to Armenia.
The pipeline is scheduled to be brought online in 2014.
