New Indian pipeline joint-venture

Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) has entered into a joint venture with US-based Gulf Interstate Engineering which will be based in India. The new venture – L&T-Gulf Pipeline Engineering Pvt Ltd – will be based at L&T’s offices in Faridabad.

L&T provides comprehensive engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning services for pipeline projects in India and and Malaysia, and among its other projects has constructed the world's longest LPG pipeline in India. Gulf, established in 1953, is a leading international project management and engineering company for pipeline and associated facilities, and has designed large-diameter pipelines for extreme conditions in the USA, Mexico, South America, Russia, and the Middle East.
