Gazprom has commissioned stage one of its gas lateral to the Khunzakh District, Republic of Dagestan, Russia.
The first stage of the 42.8 km gas lateral has been completed including construction of a gas distribution station at Khunzakh.
The second stage of the pipeline will be completed by the end of 2010 and will include construction of an additional three gas distribution stations.
The gas lateral to Khunzakh will have a capacity of 400 MMcm/a and provide gas to 10,500 households, 322 utility and production facilities in Dagestan.
