Oil flows through Sinopec pipeline

Construction has recently been completed on Sinopec’s crude oil pipeline from North China’s Hebei province to its refinery in Shijiazhuang, local news sources have reported.

The 147.5 km pipeline will have a capacity of 8 MMt/a.

Sinopec is also upgrading the pipeline linking Hejian with Tianjin, which is expected to go on stream by the end of 2009, will enable the refinery to take delivery of overseas crude oil via the Caofeidian terminal.
