ONGC plans to lay two subsea trunklines, a 30-in diameter oil line and a 24-in diameter gas line, from the field to the terminal. In the tender document, the company said that the work includes project management, surveys (including pre-engineering, pre- and post-construction survey), engineering, procurement, fabrication, anti-corrosion, and weight coating, transportation, laying including laying inshore approaches, burial of the trunk lines, installation of laterals, PLEMS, modifications at platforms, hook up, pre-commissioning, commissioning and testing of pipelines. ONGC expects the chosen company to complete the pipeline work by early 2005.
