PAKISTAN’S Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Ltd (SNGPL) has signed a contract to construct a gas pipeline with MOL Pakistan Oil & Gas Co BV.
The contract is worth $9.6 million,and involves the construction of a 78-km long, 10-in diameter, gas pipeline from Gurguri to Kohat. According to a SNGPL’s spokesman, this gas pipeline will link the new gas reserves (discovered in 2002) at Gurguri to the Sui Northern high pressure network at Kohat. The line will transport 35 million cuft/d gas by the end of 2004.
