MEXICO’S state oil company Pemex’s E&P unit Pemex Exploracion y Produccion (PEP) has announced an international pipeline work tender for a 10-year contract to carry out work to enhance the reliability of its pipeline network in the states of Tabasco, Veracruz, and Chiapas.
The system currently includes 93 pipelines with a total length of 1,775km total that are operational or temporarily out of service; 22 pipelines (totalling 325km in length) that are out of operation; and pumping, storage, and distribution facilities. Potential bidders must have operated and managed, without interruption, hydrocarbons transport systems from 2002-06 with a length of no less than 1,700km, among other requirements.
