INDIAN contractor Punj Lloyd Ltd has been awarded a $130-million contract to construct pipelines for the Oman Gas Co on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis. The scope of work involves a 24-in, 40-km long pipeline from Murayrat to Barka, a 32-inch, 252-km long, pipeline from Saih Rawl to the Mukhaizna loopline, and an optional compression station at Nimr.
