INDIA’S private sector oil giant Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) has plans to lay two gas pipelines to Uttar Pradesh state to provide petroleum products to industries and the community, according to the state’s Industrial Development Secretary Rakesh Garg.
The 450-km long pipelines would be laid from Jamnagar in Gujarat to Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh, and from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh to Kanpur, Mr Garg said, adding that the project costing about $111.1 million would be completed within the next two years.
