The five courses will cover areas such as pipeline risk management, pigging and maintenance, defect assessment, repair methods and in-service welding, and subsea inspection. The courses are ideal for designers, engineers, and technical and service professionals involved in these areas.

Attendance to these courses will be limited, creating an intimate setting where course participants can freely interact with the presenter and fully maximise their learning experience.

Organiser Tiratsoo Technical, a division of Great Southern Press, has brought together key members of leading industry companies to run the courses:

  • The Pipeline Defect Assessment Course will be conducted on 21–23 November by Penspen’s Roland Palmer-Jones.
  • The Pipeline Repair Methods and In-Service Welding Course will be conducted on 21–22 November by DNV’s Bill Bruce.
  • The Pipeline Pigging and Maintenance Course will be conducted on 23–25 November by Penspen’s Harry Macpherson and Andre Goncalves.
  • The Pipeline Risk Management and Assessment Course conducted on 23–25 November by Penspen’s Graham Goodfellow.
  • The Inspection of Offshore Pipelines and Structures Course will be conducted on 23–35 November by NDT’s Dr Michael Beller and Innospection’s Dr Konrad Reber.
