ARGENTINIAN steel tube and equipment producer Siat has won a tender to supply pipes to state energy company Enarsa, Siat’s 30% owner TenarisConfab confirmed in March. Siat is to provide 1,182km of pipes under the $549-million contract. Sao Paulo-based TenarisConfab will provide another 327km of welded steel pipes as a further part of the contract, separately worth $178m, and deliveries are expected to start within 21 months of the date the contract is signed.
