This project will deliver the Caspian gas to the world market. Up to now, we had imported gas from Russia, Algeria, Nigeria and Iran. Now we have found another source of gas," Mr Arikan said. The pipeline will deliver 8.6m cum/d of gas, and will also enable Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan to export their natural gas, the v-p said.
