The 16,898 km Transco Pipeline System runs from south Texas to New York City. The expansion project includes a 5 km Rockaway Delivery Lateral with a capacity of 625 MMcf of gas. Construction will begin in 2011 and the pipeline is expected to commence operation in 2012.

Meanwhile, the United States Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is seeking public comment on Williams’ 246 km Blue Bridge Pipeline Project, which is designed to bring natural gas from Oregon to markets in the Pacific northwest.

The pipeline will be an expansion of Williams’ existing 6,276 km Northwest Pipeline System.
