The Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye oil and gas condensate field, licensed to Rosneft, is located in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and is currently under construction. The proven and prospective oil reserves of the field exceed 500 MMt and it is intended to become operational in 2013.
The ESPO pipeline is to be constructed in two stages. The first stage of the pipeline consists of 2,694 km of pipeline running from the western boundaries of the Irkutsk region to the Amur River banks, seven oil pumping stations and a port on the Pacific Ocean.
The second stage of the ESPO pipeline (EPSO-2) will run through the Amur region, the Jewish Autonomous region, Khabarovsk and Primorsky territories. The 1,963 km pipeline is expected to be built within 14 to 17 months but the final timeline has not been approved yet.
A total of 822 km of the ESPO-2 pipeline will run in the Amur region, 324 km in the Jewish Autonomous region, 274 km in Khabarovsk territory, and 570 km in Primorsky Territory. A 1,067 mm pipe will be used from Skovorodino to Khabarovsk, and then 1,020 mm to Kozmino to provide for possible supplies of to up 10 MMt of oil to refineries in the Khabarovsk Territory.
