Call for papers has opened for the 2nd Iran Pipeline Pigging Conference which will be held in Tehran on 23–24 October 2017.
Organised by the Middle East Pipeline magazine and Technical Productions from the UK, the program for the two-day conference will cover all aspects of oil and gas pipeline pigging, from cleaning and geometry verification, to the latest in-line inspection (ILI) tools and the interpretation of their findings.
Presentations have been invited from operators, vendors, and service companies from within the Iranian pipeline industry and elsewhere; with case study projects particularly welcome.
The conference will be accompanied by the Iran Pipeline Show – a major exhibition of equipment and services – and a number of workshops which will feature more-detailed discussions on particular aspects of pipeline pigging and inspection.
More details of the workshops are yet to be confirmed and more information will be released at a later date.
The organisers have requested that 50–100 word abstracts, along with all authors’ names, company details, and addresses, be sent to:
Hamidreza Ettelaie, Iranian Oil Pipeline & Telecommunication Co, Iran – firstname.lastname@example.org
John Tiratsoo, Technical Productions Ltd, UK – email@example.com
The deadline for abstracts is 4 September 2017, after which the program will be published as soon as possible. Presentation files will be required by 16 October.
