Registrations are still available for the Technology for Future and Ageing Pipelines (TFAP) Conference, taking place in Gent, Belgium on 10–12 April 2018.
Formerly known as Rudi’s Pipeline Technology Conference, TFAP is co-organised by Tiratsoo Technical, a division of Great Southern Press, and the Lab. Soete of Universiteit Gent.
The 42 papers from the conference have been divided into 18 sessions, across three simultaneous streams, following the opening keynote address from Dr Brian Leis, of B N Leis Consultants, Columbus, Ohio, US.
The conference is aimed at sharing knowledge and will feature the latest achievements relating to the assessment, use and maintenance of ageing high-pressure (cross-country/offshore) transmission and ageing low-pressure distribution gas and oil pipeline systems.
A parallel theme will explore the latest technology for materials and welding for new pipelines to ensure they are designed for a maximum effective operational lifetime.
Attendance at TFAP will be of value to technical consultants and managers, engineers, academics, project managers, heads of operations, and CEOs and managing directors.
Full conference registration starts at €1,200 (US$1,481.03).
Company members of European Pipeline Research Group, Pigging Products and Services Association, and Pipeline Research Council International are entitled to the ‘Professional Membership’ registration discount for the first two individual registrations per company, at a cost of €1,080 (US$1,332.93).
