The American Petroleum Institute (API) Pipeline Conference and Control Room Forum has released its event program.
Taking place in Arizona, US on 9–11 April 2019, the annual conference and biennial forum offers attendees access to a wide range of speakers on subjects such as asset integrity, risk management, construction management, workforce development and many more.

The conference will feature presentations from industry leading speakers, including Geomorphic Solutions’ Dr Jeff Barry, who will discuss the traditional approaches, tools and methods available to pipeline operators to better understand pipeline burial depth and MH Consulting’s Dr Morgan Henrie, who will present on enhancing pipeline spill risk analysis through the use of Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration spill data analysis results.
The Control Room Forum will offer a strong focus on the issue of worker fatigue, with presentations on analysing shift schedule to determine controller fatigue, operator alertness changes over a 12-hour shift, and the modernisation of workforce scheduling to manage employee fatigue.
