PipeLine Machinery International (PLM) has announced personnel changes to its Europe, Asia, Middle East (EAME) operations.
Effective 1 April, Gerald ‘Gerry’ Grothe has retired from his role as PLM International Sales Manager EAME.
Mr Grothe has been in the heavy equipment industry for more than 40 years, with the majority of his time focused on the pipeline sector.
His long and successful career included the development of many long-term relationships with pipeline contractors in the US and internationally.
Mr Grothe was also actively involved with the International Pipe Line & Offshore Contractors Association, serving several terms on the Board of Directors.
He was one of the PLM’s original employees when the company opened its doors in 2005 and PLM said he has been instrumental in the development of the company as the global Cat® dealer for pipeline equipment.
Also effective 1 April, PLM Director of Business Development for EAME Sean McNally will assume all sales and business development responsibilities for the region.
Mr McNally has been with PLM since May 2017, in addition to 11 years’ experience working in several senior management positions for Hayes Performance Systems.
