PPIM 2020 to feature 75 papers

This year’s Pipeline Pigging and Integrity Management Conference (PPIM) will feature 75 papers on 14 topics from more than 100 expert authors.

PPIM 2020 will return to the George R. Brown Convention Center and Marriot Marquis Hotel in Houston, US on 17–21 February 2020.

As an industry forum devoted exclusively to pipeline pigging for maintenance and inspection and pipeline integrity assessment and repair, PPIM will feature technical papers covering a wide array of topics, including:

  • ILI applications, analysis, verification
  • risk assessment and management
  • engineering assessment
  • evaluating dents
  • materials
  • cracks and seam welds
  • risk-based inspection
  • hydrostatic testing
  • repair
  • mechanical damage
  • leak detection
  • mechanical damage
  • data management
  • stress corrosion cracking.

The event will bring together engineering management and field operating personnel from both transmission and distribution pipeline companies concerned with improved operations and integrity management.

A discount applies for registrations purchased before 20 January 2020, while professional members of Young Pipeline Professionals USA and Young Pipeliners Association of Canada are also entitled to a discount.
