Gulfstream Services Incorporated (GSI) has announced its growth through the US with new recruits, facilities and offices in Texas and Louisiana.
Formed in 1978, GSI has several establishments throughout the US and one in Scotland with a global team of 210.
Its recent growth includes a new location in Midland and a new office space in Houston, Texas, as well as an expanded facility in Houma, Louisiana.
The US expansion follows GSI’s recent move to a new larger workshop in Aberdeen, Scotland for the production and delivering of its cutting-edge equipment.
GSI COO Patrick Armstrong said the company is delighted to be expanding in both the US and globally.
“Our investment into our new and existing facilities highlights the opportunities for our product lines for the entire life cycle of the well from drilling, completions and production to decommissioning,” said Mr Armstrong.
“We are proud to be the rental tool company of choice for many operators and service companies and with our existing team and new recruits, we look forward to continued growth in the upstream oil and gas industry.”
These new recruits are Standley Gardner and Keith Foley who will be joining the company in West Texas and Houston respectively.
Mr Gardner will be a sales representative supporting the company’s expansion in the Permian and Delaware Basin while Mr Foley will focus on growing GSI’s offshore business after 36 years of experience with Halliburton.
