The Global Energy Show (GES) has not postponed its upcoming event, with organisers hoping it will be safe to run by June despite COVID-19.
GES is a key platform for policy makers and industry leaders to make decisions shaping the future of energy and is scheduled to take place on June 9-11 2020 in Calgary, Canada.
In 2020, the show aims to encompass the entire energy landscape by featuring a diversified energy mix in its exhibition, strategic and technical conferences and special events.
GES is still aiming to go ahead in June; however, it is understood a postponement may become necessary.
Event organiser DMG Events says its senior management team will continually assess the situation and put contingency plans in place should the event be postponed.
Frequent updates will be provided to customers and stakeholders regarding the future status of GES.
