Croatian event postponed until October

The 35th International Scientific and Expert Meeting of Gas Professionals will take place on 21-23 October 2020.

The venue for the event will remain the same – the Congress Centre of the Grand Hotel Adriatic in Opatjia, Croatia – however, the date was postponed due to COVID-19.

The event’s organisers said the new date will coincide with the arrival of a floating storage regasification unit to the LNG terminal location on the island of Krk, where the event hopes to organise a technical visit.

The technical visit, if possible, will provide an important overview of the gas project with strategic interest to both the Republic of Croatia and the European Union.

The International Scientific and Expert Meeting of Gas Professionals is one of the largest international natural gas conferences and exhibitions in central and southeast Europe.

Its 2020 edition expects to gather 600 distinguished gas and energy experts and high-ranking managers from 240 gas companies, along with 60 speakers and 45 exhibitors from more than 20 countries.
